The original post title was Kindness of Strangers, but this kindness was from a friend, not a stranger, and there was no Blanche DuBois tragedy. The kindness is this... how cool to have friends who just let you be... who let you write on their terrace.
Thank you, Peggie. And here's to learning how cool it is to live an hour from Vancouver.
Here's to friendly friends. May we all have the support to do what we're meant to do. The next few weeks will be summer busy-ness, so I won't post until September. Happy writing!

What a beautiful view! So much inspiration!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy my favorite month!
ReplyDeleteHappy Writing, indeed.
ReplyDeletewas that terrace built on heavenly clouds or what? :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome pic. I love seeing where you are. :)
ReplyDelete@J--I can't believe August is your favorite month!! There are so many other great months! My favorite months roll. Right now, I'm thirsting after cool and sweet fall days--wearing long clothes, leaves falling from trees, walking in the wind, pumpkins and the smell of baking bread in the house.
During fall, I will be hankering for twinkling lights, and Christmas carols, making snowmen and sledding, sleeping in on snow days. Hot chocolate...
Great Photo, Robert!! Happy writing! :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning skyline! And those clouds. Wow, I wouldn't have gotten any work done, just stared at the view...
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with that photo...the skyline, the shady terrace, all of it. What an amazing place to write!
ReplyDeleteI think that Vancouver is one of the most beautiful cities on Earth. I wish I knew your friends, so I could hang out there too!
ReplyDeleteNice! I'd love a terrace to write from!
ReplyDeleteFor now I have to settle with a basement dungeon that has peach-colored walls. Maybe I better do a paint job before I set the desk up.
