My last post of November 5th was a while ago and I've not been in the blogosphere at all. Well... I've been working on a new writing and blogging project that I'll blog about in January. But right now I'm pretty psyched that I ten minutes ago I wrote the last line of novel #2. A complete, start-to-finish rough draft. Kinda unexpectedly ahead of schedule. Writing at least two hours the first thing every day worked.
Happy New Year to everyone.
A toast to 2010.
Open arms to 2011.

That's the way I do it too, Robert. Get up and get it done. Plus, it's my most favorite time to write. So that makes it a double treat for me.
ReplyDeleteGlad you found a way that works best for you, too.
Happy Writing.
Awesome.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! That's definitely worth celebrating!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you too!
Congrats! Perfect way to begin a new year. I like that writing schedule!
ReplyDeleteFantastic! And welcome back.
ReplyDeletegreat news ... i'm still stuck on novel 1 ... didnt want this to carry over into the new year, but oh well...
ReplyDeleteHappy new year to yah and may you keep writing ... *cheers*
Congratulations! In some ways, finishing the first draft of novel 2 is even more important than novel 1 because it shows you that you really can do it, that you're not a one-hit-wonder, and that writing novels is what you do! The joy and relief I felt on completing my second novel was even more profound than my first book because of all those reasons.
ReplyDeleteSavour the moment and take some time to celebrate.
